"I can't believe it --- you mean he really cheated ??? Who would have guessed ???"----------I thought it was natural for a 40 yo cyclist to best 19 year-olds who have been caught doping. Next they'll tell me is isn't natural for a "350" pound defensive lineman to catch a running back from behind.

I have a feeling that the International cycling federation will look pretty bad after this.

Since athletes are put on a pedestal and since they make unbelieveable amounts of money for playing sports, I would not be shocked if they all cheated. People will do anything for the fame and fortune, and back then they used blockers to prevent the detection of taking PEDs.

Not only did he dope repeatedly. Not only did he cheat his way to victory repeatedly. He lied about it to our faces repeatedly and attacked anyone that claimed otherwise. Lance was a hero. Lance ain't my hero anymore.

no, don't give the haters the satisfaction. It's only biking. no one cares. Even today we have college athletes gaining 30-35lbs in the "off season" which trainers tell us that is totally impossible without the use of some foreign substance (PEDs). Sports is big money and a 4 game suspension is a very small price to pay.

I think Lance missed the window for this, if the intention is to gain some kind of public goodwill. Admitting to it now can only be another narcissistic move to avoid some bad outcome, litigation or otherwise. Frankly, it's pathetic. There is no benefit to his integrity to confess now. That opportunity was a couple years ago.
