Nice win, in what was clearly a "trap" game. Tomorrow should be a much easier win, then on to putting points between themselves and ND next weekend.

Not a dominating game by any means, but a solid win in a series where a let-down was inevitable. Bring on the Whioux, much easier series than this, anyone who says otherwise is a no-name lover that doesn't realize the Goph's get up to play "decent" opponent's and go to sleep with "s&$t" opponents. Take BC and ND as examples... I'm predicting an 5-0 & 7-2 sweep against the Whioux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very Ugly Win. Several players appeared to dog it. Marshall on a couple of occasions just appeared to want to play offense and when it came to playing defense, he got caught trailing the play. Alt appears to have regressed and not sure I want him to ever handle the puck. Stickhandling is not his strong point at all. But even with a very shaky Wilcox in net...we won. I just wish Wilcox would play goal more and handle the puck less. He is going to cost us a goal or two the way he handles the puck outside the goad. The team better come out smoking tonight because if they think AA will be demoralized and come out flat, they have another thing coming. Also very disappointed to see yet again a Lucia coached team come out flat on a Friday night.

I am not sure that checking from behind call was a good one. Bjugstad was on his way up the boards and at the last second turned. the Seawolves player was already in his check, which would have been to the side, when Bjugstad turned.

Year in/year out, I am impressed by how hard AA plays and how their coach handles his team and the game. One thing I did notice is Alaska's penalty kill unit laid back and got burned while Notre Dame's attacked the Gopher power play and did not.

Not pretty, but still a win. As they say, good teams find a way to win. And for bgronni, it was Budish that received the hit and it was a stupid hit by UAA.

No wonder you missed it, it was Budish that got hit from behind. The Gophers showed why they are the number one team in teh nation by coming from behind twice to win this one. A much weaker team would have folded after the tying and go ahead goals at the end, but the Gophers did not panic and did what they had to do to win it. Go Gophers!!!!

dirty dogs- don't focus on the negative all the timeg. Look at the circumstances man. The gophs had a short week, were without there top score, and alaska had a long break since last game. Great win for Gophs.

Alt's troubles this season aren't a new thing. He was shaky a lot last year, too.

AA always saves their best for MN. Despite their record, they have a great coach.
