Two thoughts. One request is from Harry Reid who has not passed a budget in how many years now? Two, I wish I banked at the bank of Obama, and could get my credit card raised when ever I wanted, to what ever level I wanted.

I say it's time for the GOP to just move aside and let the DFL/Obama pass any bill they want. This way when everything tanks there will be no one to blame but the failed DFL policies.

even if we don't increase the debt ceiling, it doesn't mean we'll default on our debts. We have enough tax receipts coming in each month to make our obligated payments (premiums and interest) on our debts. Where we'll run out of money is for social programs, defense spending programs, and other discretionary spending the government does every month. That will make things uncomfortable for many Americans and/or businesses who rely on some sort of govt. payout or subsidy. But let's be honest. We WILL NOT default on our debt payments.
