Great - now when does Karzai the Korrupt give us back the billions he has funneled out of the country?
Anybody else think the other item on the agenda was Karzai's terms of exile when he is deposed? Also, does anybody else doubt for a second that the State Dept already has a pool started betting on the exact date Karzai is toppled?
Take a look at our track record for how quickly we leave countries that we've invaded and/or occupied. That'll give you a good indicator when we can expect the last US troop to leave.
I hope that Obama told him not to let the door hit his a@@ on the way out of the white house.
Anything to bring the troops home. They have paid the highest pri.... Oh, I have to go shopping now!
Viet-nam vets remember the same story from Richard Nixon in 1972.They called it Viet-namization Mr Obama. The same thing that happened in Viet-nam in 1975 will happen in Afganistan.
Shows the relevance of the nobel peace prize when Obama is hanging out with one of the most corrupt leaders in the world today.
Why doesn't the media provide an in-depth report with photos of all the infrastructure the American taxpayer has paid for over there?
What exactly did we build? Has it been blown to rubble already?
Why not a complete accounting of all the billions paid to private contractors...and what did we get for it? I would like to know and I'm sure others would, too.
I suppose, as a matter of "convenience", the Associated Press managed to omit the actual text of Obama's speech, when he told Karzai and the rest of the world, that in Afghanistan, the US, "fell short". What a great comment for a great Leader to make. A comment like that has got to really make the troops feel good, especially the families of the fallen troops.
I liked the old days when the Commander in Chiefs actually had military experience.
