How come rich liberals like this Rockefeller character never give their OWN money away? Hmmm? They will steal other people's money and give that away, but never their own.

Thank you, Senator Rockefeller, for being an example of 1%er who fights for the 99% -- not just his own personal self interests.

so are the 1% evil? ...or are there more rich people who actually give and give? Why is it OK that we stereotype a group, anyway?

Democrat's are in big trouble when it comes to the U.S. Senate in 2014. They have twice the amount of current seats up for re-election as Republicans do and many are in red states. This Rockefeller seat is yet another one. Democrats are doomed in the Senate, especially if they continue to push this pink pony gun control issue instead of more neutral policies like tax and entitlement reform. They're setting themselves up for a replay of 1994, the year in which neoconservatives began their 18-year reign of terror.

His uncle Nelson was a fire cracker and a type of republican that is all but extinct, a moderate.

Another 1%er claiming he's been doing it for the middle class. He claims he understands the common folk. Right!

Many people said the Democrats were in big trouble in 2012 because there actually WERE more than twice as many Democratic seats up then - 23 to 10! And, of course, the Democrats (or allied independents) gained two seats by winning 25 of the 33 races. And who knows how many GOP candidates will torpedo themselves by making stupid rape comments in 2014?
