Time to bring out the hand sanitizers and cart cleaners. Remember to wash your hands and stay away from work or school or other events if you or your child has a fever, vomitting, and/or diarrhea.

Very misleading. What is the actual number of cases of people that have succumbed to the flu versus those who have immune system or other underlying medical conditions. A flu shot gives many false sense of security. Build up your immune system, Vit D. Better diet.

I am not an advocate of the flu shot and am curious to know how many of the people that have died or been hospitalized have received one?

People need to start using their heads. DONT go to work when you are sick. I know you are an iron man and can take it, quit spreading illness you losers. Good time to fill up with groceries and hunker down for a few weeks!

Keep your diet good, get enough sleep, exercise, keep your immune system strong, and wash wash wash hands. We also need to make sure all workers have paid sick days. Many do not, including many in food service. People who do not have paid sick days are far more likely to come to work sick. Advocate for good benefits for all - it helps us all.

I wish my employer provided sick days so my coworkers could stay at home, instead of coming into work with fevers and exposing us all. Also WARNING: Most food service workers don't have paid sick days either so beware when dining out... your server or cook may be coming to work sick.

mrbluesky - you don't want sick people to go to work and spread their bugs. You would prefer that they go to the store and spread the bugs there. Makes sense, I guess. But if you are sick for a couple of weeks, you are probably in the hospital already and they will provide food to you.

This flu has NOTHING to do with vomiting and diarrhea. It is INFLUENZA, folks. That's an upper-respiratory infection - nothing to do with the digestive system. You are just as likely to be infected by the cashier at your local grocery store or the ticket seller at the movie theater as you are a food service worker.
