If that is really the whole story - no kidnapping or anything - it sure seems like a harsh sentence.
Handcuffing someone else against their will (unless you a police officer) actually is kidnapping. What kind of crazy stalker handcuffs himself to someone he's trying to impress? I think the sentence is appropriate.
a 25-year old that apparently has struck out with women his own age and experience, right? Even then, he had to handcuff the young woman to get her attention. Wow, what a guy!
There is no room for stalking and bullying. Society is serious these days. 20 years ago a judge wouldn't have even seen this case.
