The Republican answered indirectly when asked about a possible gubernatorial run.

I would LOVE to see Normy run for Governor. I miss voting against him.

Normy, you have burned too many bridges in MN. Stay in your Teaparty pacs and don't expect Minnesotan's to be on your side.

I'd rather take a chance with the flu than have Coleman as governor.

No thanks. Go away and stay away. But at least I give you credit for not having being dumb enough to run against Amy K.

Nominating Norm would be one way for the state Republican Party to hand the election to our lobotomized, Wilf-loving, governor. Another way would be to nominate another Emmer type. That won't run as well next time as it did last time. I'd love to see Jeff Johnson (who formerly represented my district in the Legislature) in the Governor's mansion, but I'd hate to see him running if he does as poorly as he did in his run for Attorney General. If the Republican Party doesn't want to win elections, why do they bother pretending? Perhaps their performance has something to do with the fact that the state party is broke. Who wants to back a guaranteed loser with cash? And for heaven's sake, can't they give Norm back to the Democrats?

This is a shot across the bow from the wealthy in Minnesota towards Mark Dayton saying "Don't raise our taxes or we will run Norm Coleman." To that I would advise Mark Dayton to say, "Bring him on!"

rambler89 - People like Coleman are pretty good representatives of what the Republican party has become.

rtwr51: Coleman is nothing but a RINO. He is NOTHING like a tea party person. What is your point? What have Republicans become? And Dayton, the MN DFL, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Klobuchar, and Franken are what the Democrat party IS: a group of people who IGNORE the Constitution and take from one group of people to give to another group of people in order to stay in power. But I never se them leading the way by voluntarily giving more of their own personal money....only take from others.

As far as tea party person, he is exactly what a tea party and the new republicans represents.
