The only people who want a simpler tax code are those who have no financial stake in its complexity -- perhaps only you and me. Think of all the tax lawyers, IRS agents, CPA's, stock brokers, financial planners, software designers and sellers -- tax complexity is a huge and profitable business for hundreds of thousands of people.
