I have no idea why Craig Biggio didn't get elected. Over 3,000 hits, almost 700 doubles, and 414 steals by a player who was a catcher most of his early career. He also played solid CF and 2B, and is arguably the greatest player in Astros history. And he was never linked to steroids (honestly, since he wasn't a power hitter, it would be surprising if he DID do steroids). So what's the problem with Biggio?

here's the problem with the HOF...two names from the past... DON SUTTON AND PHIL RIZZUTO....how? see you put Sutton in but not Jimmy Kaat? Rizzuto but not Craig Nettles? No rhyme nor reason to their voting or selection.

Indeed, the "Hall snubs look Fame worthy." And there is no question that when a player like Clemens was on the field I was riveted, watching intently. How often does a superman, a seemingly perfect athlete exist? We all, if we played sports growing up, imagine ourselves as that superathlete, and if s/he is poetry to watch (or so dominating as to be deemed "amazing"), how can we help but root him/her on? However, and it's a big however, when someone cheats, enlists the aid of artificial means to achieve greatness, s/he has to be viewed differently. How much of Clemens' or Bonds' career was due to such cheating? We'll probably never know. I'm glad that I don't have to make the decision about whether a great player, with the stats, gets into The Hall. But if someone like Pete Rose can't get in, with his stats and no steroids, then how can people who have tainted their performances get in?

All the different Hall of Fames are such a joke, I don't even think Adrian Peterson would get voted in.
