OK, I'm trying to be mad at the NHL/players for holding us hostage during the lockout but it ain't working... We have never had fire power like this before and I am getting giddy in anticipation for opening night.

I have a question. Why does the fourth line for every team have to be "gritty, gutsy" guys who usually can't score a lick? I understand about not bringing up young prospects and sticking them on the fourth line with little ice time, but can't someone break out of that mold? I'd rather see guys like Coyle up here on a line than guys like Konopka. Move Brodziak and Clutter to the fourth line if you need "gritty" guys.

Suter/Cosmo. Still laughing about this. As an article in Cosmopolitan, this is right up their alley. Well, at least Cosmo picked the best sport!!

I think I can answer that question for you Miss Tillie. The fourth line is for the lunchable-type player like Mister Bruno. The fans love the players on the fourth line because they are like Underdog they aint worried about players like Mister Heatley and all the tids and bits of his life like if he a Belieber or a Directioner you know what I am sayin Miss Tillie so to summarize the fourth line is not the line of players that can score it is the line for players that the fans love aka Mister John Scott tbh. I know...but what hold back guys like Coyle and Larson if they're ready just because you gave guaranteed contracts to Konopka/Torrey/Powe? If they're ready, play them without having to have this stereotypical "gritty" line. Clutter and Brodziak can supply plenty of grit.

Only left for the WILD now is to rid their Christmas Sweater-like Jerseys! I can't stand the looks of these jerseys. But I am very excited about this team and roster!

The make up of the fourth lines in the NHL has nothing to do with what the fans want. You have to have guys on a team that you can insert into a PK or to add physicality from time to time (watch, Yeo will sub Powe in for Cullen, or even Granlund during a game this year) and to give super skilled players a breather during games. Let's not forget that Powe and Konopka can play hockey. These guys aren't exactly unskilled.
