Where's the frame of a law maker hugging the Constitution on one side while the Anti-gun groups run their copy through a shredder?

Newsflash: Pro gun lawmakers have more than the support of the NRA. They have the support of vocal, politically active voters.

"the support of vocal, politically active voters"??? I guess I don't understand the meaning of the adjective "politically" but I will take that as the opening to tell you that people don't want the second amendment abolished. That is not what this is all about although the NRA, who I don't care one way or the other about, would have you believe that. This is about gun control on certain categories of weapons. I own guns, but I don't own assault weapons. The NRA needs to give a little on this issue, instead of making it an all or nothing proposition.

You'll never see Sack print this with "Organized Labor" padding the lawmakers pocket.

The Gun "Control" folks need to get their act together and realize that their choice of tactics (banning the sale of guns) will soon be obsolete. Roughly 70 years ago, the Sten Gun was invented. It was a semi-automatic rifle that could be built in a standard metal workshop in about 5 hours with the tools of the day. The French Resistance built them by the score. These days we have much better tools. Between 3D printers and other computer controlled fabrication tools, it will be possible for anyone to "print out" guns in their garage. The guns will not be anywhere near the quality that can be manufactured by specialist companies, but they will be at least as good as the Sten Gun.
