Bettman is a waste of breath!!! As I read another thought on how WE THE FANS should react to the lockout either skip the opening game (as much as we all would rather be there) or if you do buy that ticket don't go to your seat until the 10 minute mark of the first period. Let the players and owners feel the emptiness we have endured.

Bettman -- what a miserable excuse for a commissioner. Three work stopages in the space of 20 years. "... the teams are preparing to welcome you back with open arms..." Now that is a real crock. "We" haven't been anywhere from which to welcome us back. Been here waiting all along. Now whether "we" welcome "you" back, we shall see. No connection with the heart of the game whatsoever. What a moron.

The most hated man in the sports world. What a title he's earned. But wait! He now shares it with Fehr who worked hard to garner his 15 minutes of fame and even dragged it out to 45. Guess what Bettman? Apologies not accepted.
