"" including his stated determination to prevent Iran's acquisition of a nuclear weapon by military means if necessary. "" OOOOOOppppps, Too LATE! Asleep at the switch I see, as usual. Its being reported yesterday, today that "Iran NOW has successfully built a nuclear bomb with the help of Russia and North Korea and has enough weapons-grade uranium and plutonium for more, according to a source in the Revolutionary Guards intelligence unit." Good Job Obama! Remember, he told us Iran is just a tiny country- and Jokin Joe laughed about it during the debates.??

Some Nobel peace prize winner. Drone strikes against innocent civilians, rape squads in Egypt, Syria killing it's own people.

Drone strikes against innocents are tragic misfortune known as collateral damage. Are we not at war? But what on Earth do the actions of those in Egypt and Syria have to do with Obama? Exactly what is he (read we) supposed to do about it?

lostinstpaul: "Its being reported yesterday, today that 'Iran NOW has successfully built a nuclear bomb'"...exactly where is it being "reported?" I checked on line and found absolutely nothing even closely resembling your claim. Before you start posting such wild accusations, maybe you should double-check your sources. At least provide them here.

Drone strikes are not ordered against innocents any more than conventional bombs are deliberately dropped on innocents (Münster, Lübeck, Augsburg, Köln, Bremen, Essen, Dortmund, Bochum, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Hamm, Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden, Hiroshima and Nagasaki notwithstanding) or any other military operation is directed at innocents.

dlzabz: Are you advocating that we attack those countries instead and put US soldiers on the ground in these countries? We all would just like to hear what you would like to see. And where have you been all these years when the violence you describe, has been happening in several African nations?

PS... Can anyone tell me why we still have 270 US bases around the world to protect us from a cold war threat that ended years ago? What is that McConnell and Boehner? "We have a spending problem?" Boy, you got that one right.

If his economic policies are any indication of the direction that he wants to take his foreign policies, this planet is in big trouble.
