A three foot squid is nothing compared to the giant that attacked the Nautilus!

Even a 3-meter squid is nothing to the one that attacked the Nautilus. But that one was science fiction; this one is real.

What a waste of money. Imagine the opportunity cost of the funds wasted on this effort. Something far more useful could have been done with these funds.

Hey redorblue, RE: "What a waste of money. Imagine the opportunity cost of the funds wasted on this effort. Something far more useful could have been done with these funds." Aren't some of these comments rather ignorant? I can still remember some of the silly, foolish and backwards thinking comments, about the Apollo space programs being developed. We are meant to explore, even using calculated health risks, whether here on Earth or out there in the heavens! I guess there always will be people who cannot see past tomorrow for what we can learn from the day after!! rhm
