A sinister curse is causing players to drop like flies, yet the Wolves are hanging in there.

Normally I wouldn't bother commenting about an article like this but just a tiny bit annoyed by the negative headline. IMO... 'limp to another improbable victory' should be replaced with something more positive like, 'Wolves win by making key baskets under pressure in closing minutes' This gives more a positive vibe after a feel-good victory for the fans.

Two thoughts: 1) assuming players that are out right now can get healthy and in shape later, and we don't lose others, this could be a pretty rested and talented team come play-off time; 2) I haven't read any stories about that crazy fan section this year - are they still around? Great win, Wolves!

Loved the last sentence of this article: This is turning into the year they [the Twolves]earn our sympathy instead of ridicule. So true. I admire the fight in this team despite adversity.

Best line in the article: "People who roller-skate drunk down stairs have a lower injury rate." :)

Winning the ultimate goal, but give me a scrappy team that doesn't quit, doesn't hang their head, and I will continue to buy tickets.

The Wolves are able to score a lot of points with Adelman and this group of players. Barea is their guy who makes bad shots when the other players are cold. Every team needs a player who can make bad shots. Shved needs to learn to stay away from the outer edge of the court when he is controlling the ball, he gets trapped and throws the ball away. Wolves do have problems defending the rim and guarding bigs. This is the problem that keeps them from being a major contender for the title. They would need to find a center who is a defensive center like Jordan or Ibaka or some others. Stiesma is not quite good enough and Amundson is what? I liked Anthony Randolf better to fit this role. They nearly won the title when they had Earvin Johnson to fill this role.

The season of woe continues.. but it is entertaining to watch. Last night's game was the perfect example of a scrappy bunch of players that didn't give up. What a change from last year... taking Anthony Randolph, Michael Beasley, Darko Milicic, and Wes Johnson off this team was paramount to their turnaround. Last night we saw guys making plays at critical times ... rarely saw that last year with those former players. Does the never stopping revolving door of injuries stop this year? ... I don't think it will. It looks like JJ will be the next to go as he is wrapped up like a mummy on the sidelines and Luke's bad back will be back soon enough to say this will be on going with the Wolves this season... but as long as they keep giving the effort like they did last night, and able to pull some unexpected wins out of the hat... we'll keep watching.

Amazing season so far considering the injuries. I think the best part is that we aren't just beating pushover teams, we beat OKC, the Hawks for the first time in 11 tries, without our best players and even our coach. The Russians are pretty key providing hustle and less heralded stats like steals and assists and a handful of blocks. Nice work wolves!

I am liking the Cunningham trade.

Kahn deserves credit for getting the two Ruskies to play for the Wolves.
