The Wolves are very lucky to get a win tonight. They don't have anyone to take over to close out games. This team is not going anywhere. Trade Love and Rubio for some shooters and they might have a chance. Once Love is gone, D Will will be a stud.

@krellcroda. Lucky? The win is deserved. They showed an extraordinary concentration even in the most difficult moments. Congratulations guys!

krell...if you think Ricky Rubio is all about scoring points, you know nothing about basketball. Focus on the World Poker Tour instead. This was a good win for the Wolves, a gut check victory. Having KLove out with an injury might be the best thing possible for DWilliams right now. It's his chance to show us what he is made of. Kahn needs to see if he can find any other Europeans that can help this team right now. Nice win. Nice shot by Cunningham.

Derrick Williams is a stud. Over the past few games he's almost scoring a point a minute and defensively he can clearly handle his own. If only our coaches would give him more consistent minutes.

If DWill can consistently shoot from distance like he did tonight, and consistently score at the rim, and get to the free throw line, he could be the next.........Kevin Love.

For all you singing the praises of DWill, who did have a solid game tonight, you do realize he was on the bench in the last few minutes when Dante Cunningham made the big shot and the big defensive play right? I just want to make sure credit goes where it should for the power forward who make the big plays when the game was on the line.

abemntocal is right on! DC saved the game in the last few minutes. In the closing minutes of the game--before his big shot and steal in the last one minute--he had a couple of key defensive stops and saved an offensive rebound from going out of bounds on a pure hustle play--leading to another Wolves' score. Watching his energy and hustle it is easy to see why Adelman loves him.

It's the mix that counts. They have four good guards that can come in and cover if the other one doesn't produce. DWill and DC compliment each other. Kirelenko is the glue and Pek does well down low. Steamer is a good backup. They need a backup at 3. They have a good mix of talent that are doing some good things. The closed out the game last night. That is what counts.

TV commentators said at the end of the game'a collective team effort'. So true! DWill replaced Love's 3 point shooting. Pek got Love's rebounds, Dante got and made Love's end of game shot, Rubio got any steals that Love might have gotten, and DWill and Shved got Love's 'don't hustle back on defense because I'm throwing my arms up at the refs' moments. Anyways, it's obvious that the team plays better team ball and the ball moves better without Love. There is no way that Love would have quick enough to get that steal that Dante got on the last possession from the Hawks. Great win T-wolves!

I was also impressed with the coaching. Barea is great when he's on but they didn't play him as much in the fourth since he didn't seem to be as effective. They played DWill just the right amount resulting in his solid play. Plus nice inbounds play during the last 2 seconds of the first half. At that time, the basket seemed not so vital since the team was up by 14 points but it was obviously critical when the team was up only one point at the end of the game.
