Excellent. The stem cell issue is easy. If you're opposed to it, then simply refuse any stem cell-derived treatment if/when you're stricken with such an illness. But the rest of us would like as many options as possible to live healthily.

The thing about the human embryo destruction is bad form for laws anyway. Unless there are women willing to carry any created embryos to term, or they are going to make laws that say if you create it, you must use it and grow it to a human (even though IVF isn't 100% and many of them will end up miscarried) it is not a human.

Government should not be financing this type of research.

The day I am not forced to pay for the US military whose actions I oppose for both moral and religious reasons is the day I will agree to ban federal funding for stem cell research. Religious folks have a funny way of picking and choosing which anti-doctrine actions they are willing to support, and those they will force on others.

Most advances from stem cell research does not work. Most advances have come from adult stem cell research. this has been proven now for many years. This type of research is a waste of time. Most embryonic research has shown that the cells mutant more often then adult cells. So why keep doing research this way? i know. Follow the money $$$$. that is all this is about.
