This cartoon summarizes the issue very well. The threat of causing damage to the US economy and credit rating should not be a bargaining chip in political negotiations.

Right on hawkeye! We have NEVER held our economy and debt ceiling hostage before in any other administration.

Once again, a one sided Sack cartoon. Why not one of the President out spending more on a Visa card that's already over the limit.
