Hagel is a RINO who wouldn't go to war with Iran if they attacked Israel. We need to defend those countries who are dependent on us. Of course, all the freebies we give out to Israel get us votes, right Norm Coleman?

The brewhaha over Hagel is yet another manufactured outrage by right wing hyper-partisans . And the media loves it.

The Republican party hates Hagel because he was outspoken about his opposition to the Iraq war. One more reason to love our President. He installs the guy who said "don't invade Iraq" to head the Pentagon. Brilliant. Israel has a healthier economy than the United States yet the citizens of the United States pay more for the defense of Israel than the Israeli's themselves. That's utter garbage and Hagel said so. That's why Israel Lobby hates him. He thinks Israel operates with it's own best interests in mind. Again, he was right. Republicans sure hate people who get things right..don't they?

It doesn't matter who Obama would appoint... Hagel is a republican and the repubs STILL wouldn't approve him. The party of "no" ... whatever Obama is for they are against...

Yawn...who really cares? As long as they lie, cheat and coverup when Obama tells them to, they'll be fine.

Headline coming soon to a newspaper near you; "Senate Rejects Republican Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense." when in reality the headline should read; "Republicans in the Senate Reject Republican Chuck Hagel for Being Too Moderate."
