Rachel Banham went 0-for-10 from the floor, but the team still found enough offense while shutting down the Badgers at the other end.

there is nothing better than to see Minnesota teams beat the cheesefaces. Great win Gopher ladies. Always nice to see you win a road game and especially great with a victory just down hwy 94. Whoo Hooo, Go Gophers.

Glad to see the Gophers win (thanks to their strong rebounding), but Wisconsin is just putrid. Banham did a nice job on free-throws and rebounding, but the Banham-Mullaney shooting so far has to be concerning: in the two Big Ten games so far they are something like a combined 10-for-45 from the field.

I'm glad that Coach B learned from her error against Michigan State and decided to play her bench more. I'm still not sure if we have enough talent to get to the NCAA tournament but I do think an NIT bid is a reasonable expectation this year.

Nice win, but as regionguy mentioned, Wisconsin is horrible and Indiana and the Badgers will be battling for the basement for the rest of the season. It was a pretty sloppy game for the Gophers, but they were just stronger top to bottom and consistently added to their lead until the end when Wisconsin made some "two minute offense" type points. I thought going into the season that if the Gophers were 3-3 after the first 6 games of the season that they would be in a good position to go 9-7 or 10-6 (Ohio State, @ Purdue, Nebraska and @Penn State left), but the way Michigan and Illinois are playing, there's just no soft spot in the schedule now. The Gophers have Northwestern at home and @ Indiana to end the season, but 3-13 in the league is not what the Gophers are looking for and they will have to bring it every night to go 9-7 this year. Go Gophers!
