The NHL ended months of bitter negotiating with a 16-hour marathon session that produced a new CBA.

Last time there was a 48-50 game season...Jacque won a cup as the coach...maybe the Wild can bring it home? What a playoff though. Four extra teams. Can Granlund score 30 in 48 games?

I think the key thing is here that they agreed to 10 years, this won't happen again for 10 years, that tells the fans this own't happen in the near future

Crickets Chirping.............. Fehr has hurt the fans my putting off team alignment as leverage, I will not watch the NHL until the the Wild no longer plays in the West. The players and owners have damaged the game and the fans will not come back this year and it will take several years to overcome this bonehead move. Time make the game better and play the championship in April not summer. By the time the Cup is up for grabs who cares about watching hockey? That's right greed makes the season so long. The agreement was great for hockey fans, but unfortunately the state of the NHL in America is you have the hardcord hockey fans and then you have no one else. The NHL in America can't outdraw a Ren and Stempi re-run marathon on Cartoon Network anymore and that is for the NHL Championship. That is extremely sad. Look at how many comments are even made on this article. That is sad for the sport.

I'm glad hockey is back and missed it oh so dearly. Still brutally angry with the league, I would be very happy to see some serious effort made thanking the fans for putting up with their selfish shenanigans...
