With the NHL lockout coming to an end and games returning sooner rather than later, staff reporter Michael Russo takes a look at the Wild's depth chart which indicats coach Mike Yeo’s plans as of the State Fair in late August (pre-lockout):

I understand this is a depth chart not the projected day one lineup. But I'm interested in the injury report. Aren't both Spurgeon and Scandella both out right now?

You might want to add Hackett at the goaltender position considering Harding's recent diagnosis.

That's a good point. I thought Harding was going to be able to play, though, despite the challenges...

Cstill, I only bring it up because its a reality. I know MN has adopted Harding as their own because he was drafted by the Wild. I wish him all the luck in the world in dealing with this matter. But, as a STH, I want the best team possible on the ice. Someone dealing with a neurological disorder that is of a long-term nature, is not likely to be able to perform at a level comparable to his teammates.
