Its nice to see team with local ties play so dynamically and winningly, especially with many players from Minnesota. Even after Glen Mason got let go, I was hoping they would hire the NDSU coach Bohl, but they have passed on him twice now. I bet he would turn the U into a respectable team.

As a former Gopher now living in ND, I agree. However, he just signed an eight year extension...

Bison seemed in control from early on. Coach Bohl not only received a long extension, but has made it clear that NDSU is where he wants to be. He would probably have plenty of opportunity to move up if he wanted to do so, but he appears happy where he is.

What tier is this again? Its not 9 man football is it? #1 after an arbitrarily drawn line separating the long list of mediocre teams and calling them a # 1 team. Quite the marketing ploy. This is the level the gophers should be demoted to. Good job ag tech I guess.

Another exciting game and the team played well all season long against fairly tough teams. Good job NDSU!

I don't think people appreciate how good the top FCS(Div. 1-AA)teams are. The Bison would have finished in the middle of the Big Ten ten, Big 12 and Pac 12 and top in the Mountain West, MAC and Conferance USA. At least 10 other FCS teams would have finished similarily.

NDSU had 15, 000 there and they should be FBS in mountain west, thry are that good 3-peat coming !!!

Congratulations to the Bison on an excellent victory and a solid season. Actually, puddle, I agree - NDSU would likely do well in the MWC. As for Yukon's assertion? ah....no; especially the "ten other teams" part.

They lose only 7 seniors (one on offense)....They will dominate again next year. They have built the BEST PROGRAM IN THE NATION. I'm not saying they are the best team in the nation - but within the parameters they have being an FCS school - they have achieved like no other program - FBS or FCS. It is a very impressive accomplishment.
