Makes perfect sense. Just can't lose anybody versus Vikings. If not, Capers exposes every weakness.

I rarely think things like this work, but if I was coach Fraizer, I'd be bringing that up to the team for sure...

taftj: the 49ers prepped for the Saints during their bye last year. Worked pretty well for them. They're playing the percentages, which is what any smart team would do.

"They're playing the percentages, which is what any smart team would do." How did those "percentages" work out for the Packers last week? Smart teams know that anything can happen and try to game plan for it. If indeed the 49ers are smart then they'll game plan for the Packers and Vikings.

I'm quite positive they practiced for every team they could play. Harbaugh isn't stupid.

Tarkington...Great idea, Zygi should send the jet back to Kiln and bring back Brett and Deanna as his personal guests. Television shots of the Favre's seated next to the Wilf's would be priceless.

Have to admit gameplanning for the two is quite different Our Vikes use a quite simple almost High School passing game that works simply because of AP...While GB hs so many weapons can't say I blame them for putting in extra time there...

This could backfire big time. If the Vikes do pull the upset, which even being a die hard fan I really seriously doubt it, but if they do, and the Redskins win, facing RG3 and Alfred Morris is a lot different animal than facing the Pack. Same with the Seahawks. And we all saw how bad Seattle embarrassed San Fran earlier this year. Harbaugh is going to catch some heat if the Vikes win then his team loses to Seattle or Washington next week.

back in the 80s the vikes backed into the playoffs. Then they beat the Saints, which the 49rs didnt think would happen. Then beat the 49rs because they thought saints were going to win. Came one play away from beating the redskins. I dont think it pays to practice for someone until you know. I hope it comes to bite the 49rs again.
