Hunting wolves with dogs? Sounds like a recipe to get your dog killed.
Does this ruling state what breeds of dogs can be used in these wolf hunts? My fear here, you see, is that some hunter with little or no wolf-hunting experience may decide to take the family schnauzer or a similar small dog out for a little wolf chase. Just another case of our government calling the fire department after the blaze is already burning.
How do you train your dog not to hunt wolves when they are out of season?????
What about the family cat?
Wait a sec, is this a story from England in the 1800s? It must have been horrible to live in such barbaric times.
New Wisconsin state motto: Thank God for Mississippi!
Just when I thought I could not have less respect for Wisconsin.
Very few breeds of dogs are suitable for wolf hunting. If these hunters think that they can use the same dogs that tree bears they're going to need a lot of dogs. They'll need to keep a lot of dogs in line to replace the ones the wolves shred. I pity the dogs but not the hunters. From what I saw of the beat hunt in WI it left a disgust for the WI hunter.
Awesome, great news. Chase them down and shoot them. It will be nice for the wolf to be the one being chased. Hopefully all states will get on board with this. Open the seasons back up and turn the dogs loose.
