DATA: VA Disability Depends on Where You Live

A Star Tribune computer analysis of ZIP codes in Minnesota shows a wide disparity in where VA disability benefits are paid. This table shows the rates of disability payments by ZIP code per one thousand veterans in Minnesota.

not only is it the diff between city and country its wars too ,like Vietnam vets were held back and not getting there's until the mid 90's

Crow Wing County is not a helpful place either. I ended up going to a different county for help after being told by the service officer he would not help me. I am 100% service connected. Also a lot of times the Disabled Veterans Organization helps more but the local county takes credit for doing nothing. Which is exactly what Crow Wing does a lot of. I commend Aitkin County for their outreach and help.
