"If you have come here to see your name in lights or to pass off political victory as accomplishment, you have come to the wrong place," an emotional Boehner said...Was he talking directly to Michelle Bachmann?

Time for citizens to put on their bigboy and big girl pants, work hard, and stop complaining because Bobby or Susie down the block has a bigger house, nicer car, and takes more vacations than you. If you want that, study harder in school, select a career based solely on compensation, and be willing to spend much less time with your loved ones. For the life of me i cant understand parents instilling values into their children that they deserve whatever they desire. No you dont.

Time to do some reflecting America. We are coming up on the 6th year anniversary since 2/3 or more of the government has been controlled by the Democrats. Is America better off in those past 6 years. We are in debt $8 trillion more than when they took over. Food Stamp and Medicaid spending have sky rocketed. We have slipped from 1st place to 7th place in global competitive index. Are we better off today than we were January 4th, 2007?

As long as these woman and minority congress members do what is best for America...which right now is to focus on spending cuts and reducing our deficit and overall debt for the good of everyone's prosperity and even our national security, then great. But I'm not holding my breath.

probsolver: "For the life of me i cant understand parents instilling values into their children that they deserve whatever they desire." Clearly you're not a parent and apparently don't know any. I know hundreds and not one of them is telling their children that the deserve whatever they want. (I know because I'm an estate attorney, and we talk about what the parents want for their families if they die prematurely.) So your little diatribe about parents and children is simply FOX-generated drivel.

Truckman182 "Are we better off today than we were January 4th, 2007?" Why that date? Wasn't Bush signing still the bills promoting the wars and programs that killed our economy. Wasn't he asking for off-the-books emergency funding for hundreds of billions every few months. Weren't the Republicans in the Senate going along with his leadership? Didn't he submit a budget that drove over $1 trillion of deficit spending into Obama's administration. Of the $6 trillion in debt since 1/25/2009, half of is directly attributable to the Bush administration. Are we better off than we were in April, 2009. Hugely! The stock market is up 100%, we've added millions of jobs, corporate profits are still setting records and people are no longer talking about a Depression like they were then. There's your comparison.

Hey on the record --- in 2007 the Democrats controlled BOTH houses of Congress. Get your facts straight. Also the byline I guess winning reelection to the Speaker of the House by 205 - 12 is narrowly relected.

Mrs.JackJones: "Hey on the record --- in 2007 the Democrats controlled BOTH houses of Congress." Hey Mrs. Jack --- My facts are straight. The fact that the Democrats are in the Majority didn't keep the Republicans from setting records for filibustering legislation they didn't like, just as they continued to do for six years. However, they participated fully in the budgets and special off-the-books appropriations submitted by Bush. They are complicit in the deficits that Truckman blames on the Democrats, since they did nothing to stop them.

Greater diversity rarely delivers agreement on any issue. Good luck America!

We are in a Depression.......The American Dream is gone. More than 16 Trillion in debt keeping our country floating in a cesspool. Taxes, welfare and large government dominate the Democrats agenda. Get Ready For An Obama Care Tax Onslaught. His promise of no new taxes on middle class being a lie. Our country's people are as divided as our congress. This battle we are in will bring our country to its knees. Another sad day in America.
