I cannot think of anything that the GOP has done or is doing that has created jobs. It seems like anything that creates jobs, the GOP has been against. All they are concerned about is cutting entitlements, etc. In order to reduce expenditures, we will have to get the ecomony going first.
The wealthy are vital to the USA economy? Having had their 11 years of the Bush tax cuts the jobs created by them are slow to be created. Being a wealth holder has inherent rules of the road. Just because you are in the upper brackets there is no mandatory minimum job creation demands to be met. The GOP has firmly protected the upper 2-4% of income earners as fragile, vulnerable and fickle. Their place in job creation obviously has a different story line in the larger scheme in terms of job creation. Interest rates are low, the stock market is high and opportunities are out there. The wealthy are still wealthy yet the GOP message as to their job creation role is misleading to the electorate in terms of their feelings of "certainty" in the USA economy. If you are broke, unemployed, have no healthcare, no job, the "certainty" of your role is very clear.
