State Fairgoer pleads guilty to kicking an off-duty cop

The accused owned up to the assault, as shown in a YouTube video, and admitted that he had been drinking.

So … this all started because Sauer reacted to being hit by a stuffed animal. Was there something particularly dangerous about that stuffed animal or did he overreact?

Would any of these charges be made if the guy was not a cop? He was off duty, no uniform...yet he's trying to restrain someone else and straddles the guy while grinding his face into the cement and has cuffs on him? Who WOULDN'T defend their friend in that situation? Anyone could claim they are a cop...and if he was off duty, why doesn't it matter that he was? This is just ridiculous.

Cop or not, what kind of cowardly **** kicks a man in the face while he is down on the ground wrestling with another man. The most simple among us would at least find out what is going on before he interjects himself in a fight that he knows nothing about. Thug is what Thug does. Have a good time in jail, fool.
