Google protects Internet search recipe while agreeing to other changes to end antitrust probe

SAN FRANCISCO - Google has settled a U.S. government probe into its business practices without making any major concessions on how the company runs its Internet search engine, the world's most influential gateway to digital information and commerce.

Apple has spent many millions of dollars trying to block competition in the last several years, where is the investigation of the worlds most aggressively anti-competitive company? Oh that's right, they're the darlings of liberals and the media, so the Obama administration won't touch them.

why should they, when the courts have been doing a fair (not special) job of taking wild claims by Apple down. oh, and the patent office has finally gotten into the business of dumping nonsense patents, which should help things greatly.
