This is truly very sad. Our children should not have to face such violence. I wonder how the surviving first graders feel and the way it will be handled? Who will be their first grade teacher? My heart goes out to the parents who will not have children going back to school today. We owe our children more than the NRA saying that we need to post guards with guns outside every school across America.

"I think right now it has to be the safest school in America," Monroe police Lt. Keith White said." Too bad this won't last, and the school will eventually go back to a 'gun-free' zone, where these children will once again be UNPROTECTED. This is the insanity of the liberals who simply refuse to do the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun- have a good guy with a gun on site. Until such time as we eliminate these foolish gun-free zones, these tragedies will continue to happen.

These poor people that have survived this tragedy have a truly long recovery process to go through and I wish them nothing but the best. However these folks cannot start on the path to healing until the media get the heck out of town. Please, leave these people alone and let them heal.
