I'm sorry but isnt Iceland spelled with a 'c'?
Please explain the staetment in the article that states "choices like Cara, Carolina, Cesil, and Christa have been rejected outright because the letter "c" is not part of Iceland's 32-letter alphabet.
That's in the english language. Iceland in actual Icelandic is: Ísland. Kinda like Sicily, Italy would be in its own tongue: Sicilia, Italia.
If the point is to prevent kids from having embrassing names, etc why cant someone who is proud and loves their name just have it?
