The 22-point loss was Minnesota's worst of the season and dropped its record to 14-14 with the Nuggets looming in a back-to-back.

These aren't the Wolves of old, where half the roster was castoff material; Adelman wanted, and got, his roster. Even with Rubio healthy, does it look like the Wolves will contend in the West? Not to me it doesn't.

What to do about Kevin Love. This July, while playing with Team USA, he informed the media his "patience is not high" with Wolves management in regard to roster upgrades. Just before the season begins he breaks his hand doing "knuckle pushups", missing the first nine games. Then on Dec. 11, he publicly questions Wolves management to Yahoo Sports, and, apparently forgetting his July comments about upgrading the roster, says, "You walk into the locker room every year, and it's completely turned over. There's new guys everywhere. And then it happens again and again. You start to wonder: Is there really a plan here? Is there really any kind of a … plan?" Since the Yahoo Sports article was published, Kevin Love has averaged less than 17 PPG, and is shooting less than 33 percent. Last year he averaged 26 PPG and shot 45 percent. Given all that's transpired up to and during this season, I have to wonder if Kevin Love is tanking it. And if he is, what should the Wolves do.

Stop whining for whatever reason, defend and play hard, as a unit. To me it's as simple as that. In this league, when you play aggressively, with guts and hustle, you can give yourself a chance to win any given night. Wolves should focus on that (Love especially).

They have had plenty of rest in the last week and this is what they come up with? So when are they going to start winning?

Maybe we can get the NBA to lock their players out and settle the hockey dispute. There's hope there.

This is not a good team. Will always root for them!!

If only the Wolves had a legitimate star or who who would be paid accordingly and, more importantly, could carry the team on his back (s) when the team isn't playing well. As the owner and the general manager noted recently by their actions, the Wolves do not currently have such a player.

I've posted this here probably 25 times in the past 3 years: OJ Mayo. He could have been our star, is the legitimate star of the Mavs. As another posted stated - we need a star who can turn it on most every night. The team looks to Love and Rubio to fill that "star" void and I personally think they both have confidence problems right now. With the exception of his first night back, Rubio has looked rather ordinary and VERY turnover prone. Love has had 1 or 2 games that remind us of what he was last year, that's it. No leaders on this team. None, right now.
