The injured wide receiver doesn't appear happy with management, which might listen to trade offers for him.

Should have traded the Diva when his value was highest.

Trade Percy to Arizona for Larry Fitzgerald. Percy is for Percy, Larry is the ultimate good citizen and team player.

Diva or not, Harvin won several games early in the season by himself alone. This team wouldn't be in the playoffs without Harvin. Ponder had zero rapport with Harvin. He wants to play with a real QB and make money! Can't blame him. Fitzgerald coming to play here with Ponder? Now that was too funny. It will be hard for the Vikings to sign any big time WR in the offseason with Ponder as our future.

It is called addition by subtraction.

I agree with dvsdan123. The Vikes started gelling when Percy went on the IR. With some standout players, the rest of the team lays back and waits for them to be a hero. (Interesting they don't do that with AP.) They are better off without Harvin, who clearly doesn't want to be on the team. I say trade him for some good draft picks, then draft some WR's. Jarius Wright will fill in just fine for Percy.

Great reporting Sid! Reading between the lines, it appears that Harvin has played his last game as a Viking. Hopefully they will be able to get a first round pick for him and then make a run at Greg Jennings in the offseason.

Any speculation on what they can get for Harvin? A couple first round picks?

I'd think you could probably get a late 1st rounder or possibly a 2nd and a 3rd for Percy, depending on the slots.

"Looking back to Sunday's game, the Packers did a good job containing Peterson in the fourth quarter -- holding him to 14 yards on seven carries -- until he broke loose for the 26-yard run that set up the winning field goal." - So they didn't contain him. Gotcha.

Percy is probably worth a first and second round pick right now. He's a proven success at the NFL level and the bottom line is that any first round pick is ultimately a risk on whether or not they can succeed at NFL level of play. That alone drives up his value beyond a typical first round pick and demands higher compensation.
