B.S. The current permit allows up to FOUR HUNDRED trucks to run per day. With a population of only 2,500 there probably aren't even that many car trips in and out of there a day. Those people are going to feel like they're living in a war zone. It's a terrible shame - such a pretty little river town, but they won't be getting any more of my tourist's dollars.
So let me get this straight. A small group of officials in MN.are allowing the beautiful tourist town of Wabasha to become polluted, ugly, full of trucks and worn out to service Dakota and TX????????? I have to wonder who is receiving some "bennies" as a result of this poor decision that was pushed through like a steamroller.
