Bullied by the Teacher? Seems to me teen girls without a job and no chores to be done at home are very controlling and manipulating (they have nothing better to do with their idle time but complain). Growing up on a farm, Amy, you know what I'm talking about.

Bobsuruncle1, while I agree with some points you make, there is no reason for a teacher to bully a student. It happens more often than you think. She may be over stretching the truth a bit and I can imagine that mom who said no to the field trip would have been furious and already contacted someone. You never know what to think when its a statement such as the one made.

Sad over Ex's Marriage - I'm surprised Amy didn't say this specifically, see a counselor/therapist. At least, the combination of your personal and professional situations gives you a struggle to overcome. At most, they put you in a possibly dangerous mindset. Counseling is definitely in order for you. Good luck.

Dude, you need to shake things up considerably. Get out of your rut: take some trips, move to a different city, do something FUN. You are going to be old before you know it so use this time in life to take some chances. The best way to get a girl out of your system is to get involved with life. Get out there!
