Oof. At 300k per hr to fly air force one, that's a pretty expensive vacation.

Wow, I mean, wow. What a total waste of money. The family should have come home, not send him back to "finish" his vacation. Let's see.......we paid for the family to go there, the Pres to come home, the Pres to go back and then the family to come home. All while accusing the most productive citizens in this country that they're not paying their fair share. Pathetic, hypocritical and divider. So glad I didn't vote for this excuse for a leader.

Everybodies paycheck is going down by 2% and this guy goes back on vacation. Next he will be asking for another tax increase because Michelle and the girls need a new pair of shoes!! This guy is tone deaf!!

The guy is the leader of our country. He spent New Years dealing with the worst Congress in US History and with the fiscal cliff legislation passed he wants to go home (and yes, Hawaii is the primary home he grew up in) for a few days and reconnect with his family. That's called setting a good example. There's a reason every president looks a lot worse for wear after his first term. He needs a little time off. I'm sure AirForce One is a lot nicer than flying coach but since he's likely the world's top terrorist target it's not like he's got a lot of options.

Our paychecks might be going down by 2% (something I am not happy about), but that is not Obama's fault. He is the one who gave us the 2% payroll tax cut in the first place. He wanted to extended it, but he didn't have the support he needed in the Republican Congress. When the extra money comes out of your pay this month, send your angry notes to Bachmann, Paulsen and Kline.

No doubt working on his response to his terminally ignorant voter base that the new fiscal cliff legislation did not impact the middle class, when it did - 2% payroll tax increase, .9% increase as a result of Obamacare, capital gains tax increase, dividends tax increase, oops. But then, the facts have mattered for 4 plus years now, have they.......

endotherm - "When the extra money comes out of your pay this month, send your angry notes to Bachmann, Paulsen and Kline."******Pssst - Bachman nad Paulsen voted against the bill, that means they wanted you to keep the 2% from the payroll tax holiday. You'd have to blame Ellison and McCollum for your statement to be accurate.
