Get ready for the fun folks, Obamacare is the biggest boondoggle we will see in our lifetime. I work for a healthcare insurer just wait until you see whats coming. Between the new Kmart coverage and higher taxes all so a small number of people could have coverage who didnt previously. Obama changed 70% of peoples coverage who were satisfied, did nothing to address cost in fact costs will rise.

theagonybho: I'll try this one, from my perspective. I had group health and it was FREE when I started. By the time I was done, our group insurance premiums had increased over time, so much, that members of our group dropped out a few at a time until the group consisted of one person. When he reached the age of medicare the group disbanded. When my family had to leave the group, because of the high cost, we had no choice but to buy a catastrophic plan; this without any major claims. As we got older, it got worse to the point right now, that we are just barely able to pay our insurance premium which is one fourth of our income. All this happened long before Obama became president. Bad mouth Obamacare if you want, but I will take a chance over this new initiative over people like you who work for the insurance industry. You have nothing to be proud of. If I thought for a minute that it was "just me" I would not comment, but ALL my friends who are approaching the age of medicare have a similar policy to ours; worthless. So why do we keep giving you our money? It is basically and insurance policy that will prevent us from losing everything to bankruptcy because of medical reasons. I repeat; you have nothing to be proud of.... bring on Obamacare, let's try it. Nothing can be worse that what we have now.

Further, Obamacare does not go into effect until 2014. How can anyone make a statement about how bad it is, until it has started and been in effect for a couple of years? Scare tactics anyone? I, for one, can't wait. If there was a mistake made in the Obamacare Law, it is that it did not go far enough. Single payer anyone?
