Isn't there an "insert spine" joke in here somewhere?
He's trying to squeeze in every moment of 2012 hospitalization before Obamacare kicks in and he gets abruptly discharged at midnight.
Only the BEST healthcare for our, ahem, hard working super wealthy "I know what's best for Minnesota despite never having worked a day in my life" Governor Dayton....
Glad he is getting treatment now when he can still go to his own doctor instead of after Obamacare starts when the Government will tell us which nurses we can go to that will replace all that unnecessary and expensive personal time with a real doctor.
The average person is out of the hospital at Mayo very quickly. Got to remember also, Mayo uses well known people for publicity, but ordinary folks will never get the same care at Mayo Clinic. I wish the Governor a speedy recovery.
You'll still go to your own doctor in 2013 and the government won't stop you because you've made up some fantasy "Obamacare" rule. And if anyone in 2013 is kicking you out of the hospital before your doctor things it advisable, talk to your private insurance carrier about that, just like you did in 2012. The abject silliness around "Obamacare" that comes from certain sectors of our population and media is beyond wacky.
I wish Governor Dayton the best, a speedy recovery and relief from the back problems.
