Big win.great game by AP. Good team effort. GB 2nd half unstopable and that's gonna be a big problem especially if DBs don't play better. Sherill can't play DB. He's a spectator .He got torched. Don't know how you fix that in six days.Rogers spotted that in a heartbeat. Pray for cold and windy next Saturday and hope AP goes beast again! What a treat watchin AP.

Christian played a great game, as did the three top WRs, but AP was MVP!

Lifting a team to his level is the very reason AP should be MVP. There was no player more valuable to his team.

Adrian Peterson is without question the league's MVP because of both his play and his character. His put-the-team-first attitude has been contagious. He is a true team leader and now Ponder is as well. Is this the year of the Viking's destiny? We'll find out.

As much as I appreciate and am amazed by AP's skills as a running back, I honestly think serious consideration needs to be given to Peyton Manning being at least a co-MVP. Peyton took a team that was 8-8 the previous year and barely squeaked into the playoffs, and turned them into a team that went 13-3 and is the number 1 seed in the AFC. And like AP, Peyton Manning is coming back after recovering from major surgery/injury. However, as far as Coach of the Year? To me, hands down it should be Leslie Frazier. To go from 3-13 last year to 10-6 and in the playoffs? It should not even be a question!!

Blair Walsh is every bit the MVP of the Vikings as AP. How many touchbacks did he have? Also, didn't he actually establish a new record for field goals longer than 50 yards? I know kickers never get the award, but take your blinders-off. Where would this team have been without him? BTW, I understand the AP argument, with the severity of the injury helping the cause. BUT, Peyton Manning missed the entire year. Considering his age, the tremendously improved record, and a new team, I would think that may sway the voters.

What about the offensive line? This a team sport!! How many yards do you think AP would have gained without the superb efforts of the offensive line? They should be recognized for their contributions!!! They entire offensive line should be voted as the teams MVP !!!

2,097 on how may carries compared to Dickerson's? AP clearly had the better year. Didn't Detroit's Johnson break Rice's receiving yards record this year and he finished UNDER 2,000 yards? And you can hardly touch a wide receiver in this league anymore (no contact after 5 yards, no hits on 'defenseless' receivers so they can roam free over the middle, etc.). NO COMPARISON to the yards AP put up this year. AP clearly better. And now compare the beating a runner like AP takes versus a QB (again, the league is now protecting their owner's QB investments -- you can't even hit their helmet with your hands). Manning might have been 'touched' by a defensive player 125 times the entire season. He was 'hit' no more than 50 times, and probably 10 of those resulted in penalties on the defensive player. Was his surgery on his throwing arm, like on AP's knee? No comparison between the two physical comebacks. AP (again) clearly the best and clearly the MVP of the league. Didn't Denver make the playoffs and win a playoff game last year without Manning? Yes, Payton made them better. But AP made turned his team into a winner. No contest, in my mind.

The first few games being careful on his leg and having limited game time; some less than sterling line run play these past few games; and he comes up 8 yards short... I know that good Minnesota sports fans should not look to next year with any expectations, but that hex died long ago on the tundra (otherwise we would be world champions several times over) - if AD has just 28 carries a game next year and holds his average, he'll be near the record again in 14 games - and with OJ Simpson, being one of two players to ever break 2000 in 14 games - and he may well break the 16 game record... and more if the Vikes ever get wide receivers that can block.
