For Walsh, it's business as unusual

His 3-for-3 day with a game-winner seems special, but it's pretty much in keeping with his entire rookie season.

He looks like potential greatness. He's done a great job and deserves to be in the All Star game. Best kicker in the NFL right now. The "Kid" has ice water in his veins. 2nd most valuable player on the team. The old dude who was scouting him should be given a big raise and some props!

Blair Walsh is the Adrian Peterson of the Special Teams. He just consistently delivers week after week. Fantastic pick, hopefully he'll be the franchise kicker for at least 10-15 years.

I hope this section gets hit with a ton of great comments for Walsh... he deserves every single one of them. I was skeptical when Longwell was released. Carl Eller said it best, because Carl Eller was one of the best, ever.

Every bit the MVP as AP. Look how many records the kid set. I am not certain AP set any this year, he was just a fantastic story.

Walsh has been fantastic this season, a great draft pick who has delivered for the team in a big way. Funny to watch the green bushers question what to do with their foggy guy. "ah do we kick it or do we not, can he make it or can he not?" Over here in Minnesota we have the greatest kicker in the NFL. The rookie 50 yd kicks, 10 for 10, will never be broken!!!

huge weapon. Kudos to Spielman. Maybe Chilli was the problem with our drafts. Good year for Frazier, despite all the whining(some by me)

Walsh ...what a weapon. Scoring position from the 40 yd line. Kicking into endzone eliminating returns great. Opponents gotta go 80 yds. Great improvement over 2011! Great job Walsh!
