It was a confident group that beat the Packers, but the postgame revelry had overtones of disbelief mixed in.

What a great ending to an A+ season. Thinking back just a coupla months ago, I figured that the Vikings were good for 6 or 7 wins as they recovered from 2 consecutive basement finishes. But stating with the 49er upset, the Texan win and now this, they have consistently over delivered this season. Now looking ahead to the playoffs, there are a lot of talented teams looming. But as the last couple of years have shown, anything can happen. So it'll be fun to take this ride one more week and see what happens. Skol VIkings!

Big big win....Great game by AP. I've seen every great RB since 1950 and lots of film of Jim Brown and no disrespect but you just saw the best RB of all time. Remember Brown had a top All Pro QB and was playing on the best team in the league. No RB has ever carried a team like AP ever. What a privlege.

AP is absolutly amazing. Imagine if we had a QB the quality of Eden Prairie or Totino Grace. We'd have a bye next week.

The vikings get rewarded by playing the Packers again next week in GB outside where it will be ice cold. Far from the comforts of the HumptyDome that's for sure. It's hard to get excited about that.

AD deserves the MVP without a doubt now. Yes, he was shy of the record, but only by 9 yards. Today, the offense elevated to his level. The passing game was actually GOOD. Truly the best back of our generation, and hopefully with time will prove he is the BEST, period.

Lot of questions around this team at beginning of season. Will they win more than 3 games, how healhty is AP, are coach Frazier and coach Musgrave in over their head, are the wr corps and secondary any better than last year, did the Vikes do the right thing is releasing Longwell. All of these questions were answered today and the Vikes will go into the most stable offseason they have had in a decade. Just have another successful draft and they will be right back in the mix.Very successful season from the Wilf's down to the practice squad players. CONGRATULATIONS VIKES.

@prplchump - Welcome back. You've been wrong more often than Larry the Cable Guy at a spelling bee. Puuullleeeezzze tell me they have no chance at Lambeau! Kinda like your prediction Houston would stomp the Vikes! LOL!

This team never stops playing. How long has it been since you could say that about a Viking team. Great job this season, hopefully this is just the beginning of a nice run. I actually would much rather play this game in Green Bay. They are not nearly as dominant on grass, and if it's really windy, good luck throwing. Vikes are built for brutal weather.

Congrats to Leslie Frazier and a good TEAM win. Oh man, 9 YARDS for the record. Well, if we as Vikings fans know anything about AD, we know that he will bounce back big time from any so called set back. Here we come Pack.

Chris Cook, Josh Robinson, and Harrison Smith had amazing games. You never heard their names all game. That's how good of job they did in the secondary. I hope they find a way to keep 97 on the field for every snap. He creates a huge mismatch. Adrian Peterson is the best running back of all time. He's a Viking. That's awesome.
