Imagine how much more $$$ could go toward actual research if every celeb with a "foundation" simply merged, eliminating overhead and competition between organizations...

Is this supposed to be a "gotcha" story? And using a 13-year-old photo? Good grief!

Sounds like a great idea. Schools that decided to participate raised a great deal of money for a worthy cause.

I thing this is great but does it take away from the efforts these schools need to fundraise for the athletic activities these kids are participating. Last event I went to they have things like 50/50 raffles to help the booster clubs or you hear how much families these days have to ante up to keep these activities goine.

Why is it always Cancer? What I've seen over the last few years mental illness might be a better cause.

So, if my school contributes and raises money, then you'll give the score or cover the game? Yeah, no conflict there.

I have no problem with this ,as long as Randy freely lends his time and talents to any school that asks him to support their fundraising event....

Cancer is a horrible disease, I've witnessed it and seen death in my family as a result. What always strikes me, however, with any of these cancer groups, is that we don't look for the cause, we always treat the disease on a reactive basis. One fix that we could all effectively utilize is a change of diet. Move away from processed foods and especially those that contain Genetically Modified Organisms (corn, soy, canola, sugarbeets, cotton(seed oil), alfalfa (fed to our animals) and EAT REAL FOOD. The process is to put a pesticide (Bt Toxin or bacillis thurgiensis) into the plant, it then tolerates glyphosates which are applied and systemically absorbed (into every cell of the plant). We live in a state where the pests are becoming immune, therefore a 3rd pesticide is applied to these crops, clothiandin, which is also systemic. No govt agency tests for human safety of eating 3 pesticides in every bite of our corn flakes, tofu, frosted flakes, what have you, instead they rely upon the manufacturers studies. What do you think the likelihood of cancer coming from ingesting over an average of 190 pounds of GMO's annually per person?? Just have to wonder.
