When the game was on the line Christian Ponder came through making a critical pass to keep the final drive alive! Adrian Peterson (The Beast) ended up 9 yards short of the single season rushing record thanks to Blair Walsh who kicked the winning field goal. When asked after the game if he was disappointed, Adrian being the class act that he is only cared about the victory - Skol Vikings.

I think this is the most disappointed I have been when the vikings beat the packers. I wanted AP to get that record so bad

I was actually hoping we'd miss the fg so AP would have a chance in ot. Hate the pukers though so a win is good. Ap missing by 9 is as heart-breaking as Watson at the British

The Vikings beat the packers and knock the bears out of the playoffs & Peterson tops 2,000 yards all on the same day - will cherish this Sunday in Vikes history for a long time!

A great win for the Vikes! Too bad A.P. didn't break that last tackle and blow through for the touchdown and the rushing record!

What a game! I'm not the most enthusiastic Ponder supporter, but he played very well today. AD was AD, as expected. Lots of others contributed: Jenkins, Wright, Felton, Griffen, Robison, the list goes on. I'm a bit sad about Adrian not getting the record, but just like Adrian said after the game, it's about the team getting wins and making the playoffs. And beating the Packers! Skol!

After Walsh kicked the winning field goal, Coach Frazier was expressionless and walked off the field. That's how a true 'winner' acts, like he's done it before which Frazier has many times before as a top player and coach. Skol Vikings

The story said that Rodgers had no turnovers, but that's incorrect. He fumbled and we took it back down the field and scored.
