The T party lost the election so they're punishing the rest of the country for it.

the country voted for more taxes, right? so let's ALL pay them. This isn't on the tea party; it's on whoever elected the current president. "The people" said "more taxes!". Now let's have them! Ohhhhhh, did you mean "more taxes, on anyone but me"? Sorry, thanks for playing, I wish I could do that too.

The only way people are going to understand their vote is if they truly feel the consequence of that that vote. You don't get anything for free. I for one am willing to put my money where my vote is. Bring it on.
