Inheritance has got to be an issue with the millionaires of the House and Senate...I wonder what wonderful new exemptions or write-offs will be tagged onto that one....maybe they'll just redefine inheritance to mean anything other than what they would pass on to their kith and kin.

I wonder if the Republicans realize that when the Defense Department gets that heavy cut their donors are not going to be happy... Stand firm on the new taxes for the top earners... Worst case on the cliff situation is that the defense department will have to cut back, defense stock will fall, the Bush tax cuts will end, and we might be LOOKING at a recession from inaction... And Obama can then propose middle class tax cuts or middle class income tax rebates as a stimulus, and the GOP will be between a rock and a hard place twice... Hey, wouldn't the two actions be the same as cutting defense and raising taxes on the top earners relative to the middle class? Gotcha.
