For a guy that can be pretty acerbic, this is a pretty gushing review by Mr. Souhan, and I must say I agree entirely. I believe that the coaching of this team has significantly improved over past years, especially in game planning opponents. The next step for the team will be to play it's best ball in playoff situations—they seem like they are on their way but tomorrow will tell us more.

I say this as a Packers' fan, hoping for a Vikings' loss tomorrow. I am very impressed with the core the Vikings have built in a short time. Shows what you can do when you have your front office in order. Thank heavens the Vikings didn't draft Russell Wilson, or you would be challenging for the division NOW! Kudos to Frazier and staff. Ponder may still be the guy, but he needs to show it soon. Vikes are a QB away from serious contention. And I have to say, AP is an absolute PLEASURE to watch play!! What a comeback!!

Good to see the Vikes moving in the right direction. Still don't know about Musgrave, calls seem to still be too vanilla but not willing to throw him out either. We just need some more creativity to take the pressure off AP. Skol Vikes, behold the smell of cheese......

The good story is this lead-block Fullback they have. Supposedly, at the beginning of the season AP did not want a L-back FB; but the stats proved him wrong and his numbers are way up when he runs the ball with this guy in the game vs running without this guy. Curious why this guy (I can't remember his name) doesn't get at least one story by the Trib?

Wow, a nice, positive article by Souhan. What a pleasant surprise! My only gripe with the article is the line about a roster filled with young unproven players and veterans near the end of the line. Who are all of these veterans near the end of their careers? Kevin Williams, Winfield, maybe Jared Allen? Am I missing anybody? I think the Vikings have one of the youngest rosters in the league and I see a lot of improvement coming over the next few years.

Dead on analysis. Now to get 2 new O-line on right side, decent deep receivers PLEASE, healthy Harvin and continued QB growth. Every pundit in the country called for 4 win season. Regardless of Sunday game...GO-Vikes!

Seems like déjà vu recall a few short years ago a guy named Childress did just enough to get an extension? Remember this was getting into a Championship game? Now it’s Frazier’s turn for only possibly making the playoffs. If they won the games they should have they’d be in buy now, think the Colts. This guy has allowed bad play calling, poor clock management, and the erosion of the team run stop strength. I know they weren’t supposed to win this year but what do you think he can do when there are expectations? Get an established winner to lead.
