I am going to take a stab in the dark here and do some assuming. Donald Fehr is the only one that can put a stop to this, these are hockey players being led by a guy who has a real history in carving up owners. It won't happen here, these owners would rather lose millions then get defeated by Fehr (worst guy that the players could have representing them) Its not good for negotiating when the other side won't talk to your leader out of spite.... The NHL knows their business and is responsible for the creation of revenue so the employees/players by NATURE ought to follow in the spirit of what the NHL believes needs to be done to do that. The NHL has made concessions but continues to insist that they can't give the players the marathon contracts they pine for, so obviously Kovelchuck, Parise and Suter are fuming about this, some of these players will never have proper perspective only gained by ones experience, Will Fehr do what is right is the question
