Trying to get the GOP/TP to help anybody other than the top 2% is like asking the fox to take care of the hen house and not eat the chickens. These self interest idiots will be made an example of in 2014. Not soon enough!!!
The wound is not not "self-inflicted" but rather "Obama-inflicted." He promised during the campaign a "balanced" approach which apparently meant pedal to the floor borrowing and spending and no meaningful cuts.
Obama urges Congress to act on fiscal cliff, says economy can't afford 'self-inflicted wound'
Obama, YOU signed the Budget Control Act of 2011 to control the budget, to raise the debt ceiling and to insure revenues and spending cuts are in place to start to fix our debt problem. You know what they say to that person who has to quit smoking, or that person who has to lose 40 lbs, "today is the day"
Trying to get Democrats to cut ANY spending is like pulling teeth, unlike taxes where they are more that willing to raise as long as someone else sits in the dentists chair!
A Nation trying to tax it's way to prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle. We have a serious spending problem and raising taxes, especially on job producers, would be a serious mistake. Elections have consequenses.
President Obama does not really care about the economy or economic prosperity for all Americans. He cares about redefining America to one where he picks winners and losers, regardless of the consequences. He has his own definition of "fairness" and unfortunately has enough people dependent on government and enough government employment union money and backing to achieve his ends, at least temporarily. Hang on, we are in for another rough four years.
"economy can't afford 'self-inflicted wound'". I wish Obama had applied this same logic before sticking us with Obamacare.
conservatives have been peddling the same talking points for 4 years. And they kept saying how the public would repudiate President Obama during the election. Well he won, decisively. And his agenda was clear. Yes, indeed, elections do have consequences.
He urges "Washington politics" to not get in the way of "America's progress" ***************** This person has no clue, Washington policies along with the administrations policies are getting in the way of "America's progress" unless he feels that America's progress if to fail.
Well he won, decisively. **************** I would not call it decisively. ----And his agenda was clear. Yes, indeed, elections do have consequences. ********* Yes they do, we get people that believe the bs given out and we elect a person that does not know what to do to lead this country.
